    Description

    This is a course in integral calculus. Topics include the definite integral and its applications to area; volumes of solids of revolution; volumes by slicing, work, arc length and selected other applications; inverse functions and derivatives of inverse functions; the fundamental Theorem of Calculus; differentiation and integration of exponential and logarithmic functions; inverse trigonometric functions; hyperbolic functions; techniques of integration; indeterminate forms, L'Hopital's Rule and Cauchy's Mean Value Theorem; and improper integrals. Class meets four days a week. Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in MAT 191
