Description

The course is designed to train students in a critical area of scientific methodology - analyzing data. Topics include: frequency distributions; central tendency and variability; independent, matched, and repeated measures sample comparisons; simple, factorial, and repeated measures analysis of variance; correlation and regression; nonparametric and binomial analysis; and, analysis of ordinal data. Pre-requisites: PSY 101 wih a grade of "C" or better or permission of instructor; MAT 102 or higher. Required course for majors; grade of "C" or better needed for majo; grade of "C" or better required as prerequisite for PSY 325.
